Happy Limerick Day!

12 May

To celebrate the holiday, I will write a limerick starring myself and suggest you do the same!  To get the limerick writing rules, check out this post on Wikipedia, which gives some history as well as explaining how to write one yourself.  Essentially, it is five lines, rhyming aabba.

While I usually hate being called Jackie, nothing rhymes with Jacqueline, so it had to be done in this case.  It does not give anyone permission to call me this in real life.

There once was a young girl named Jackie

Who liked to wear things that were wacky

She wore hot pink high heels

And a dress that was teal

Her friends all said she looked quite tacky.
